Embracing Anxiety + Change
I'm a stepmom to an almost 10 year old young man. He was 5 when I fell in love with his Daddy. My life has changed dramatically over the last 4.5 years, in more ways than I can even fathom. It took a while to truly embrace the change and use the transition to better my soul. I had to shift my perspective. I learned you fight for what (and who) you value. You face the chaos because the outcome means more, especially when an innocent child is in the mix.
So sometimes things get a little BLURRY. Something incredible is happening withing you that has yet to surface. I know the saying 'Everything happens for a reason' but I call BS...there are plenty of terrible emotional things that happen for no reason at all... I believe we are designed to find meaning within the the things that happen to us. If you can climb through it, the growth waiting for you on the other side is the purest reflection of manifesting a happy life.
That familiar feeling of suffocation tends to take over and the anxiety sets in - STOP letting it CONSUME you. You absolutely need to use this stress as FUEL.
Understand that your fear is GROWTH and if you want to keep growing, you absolutely must TAKE ACTION. Control what you can, seek advice from people you trust, focus on improving one thing about yourself or your habits every single day.
The solution will surface when your attention shifts to the positives in your life.
Start taking action and start asking yourself better questions.
Better Questions = Better Life

A brief in boheme culture...
Artistic, comfortable, unconventional..
Bohemian style is more than just a fashion trend – it’s an actual culture in its own right; one that comes with a very specific ideology and complicated history. While it’s closely associated with the hippie fashions of the 60s and 70s, these days, bohemian fashion is part of our mainstream culture. ‘Boho’ fashion actually began as a counterculture back in the 19th century. In today’s society, the wide variety of boho clothing and accessories have cultivated the style into an actual phenomenon. Modern boho follows the lines of effortless, relaxed fashion, with the comfortable clothing, the rustic textured yet casual jewelry and accessories with an overall artistic, creative fusion of enticing elements.
The fashion industry labeled bohemian to embody the lifestyle ideology that comes with it: an alternative to the traditional way of dressing, paired with an equally alternative, more liberated lifestyle. They branded this bohemian mantra to represent a social stance against everything “trendy and mainstream” from materialism to society’s "politically correct" and "lady-like" limitations. Now that the non-conformists have made such a mark on social media with their addicting wanderlust nature, mainstream fashion brands have shifted their thinking. The once followed now becomes the follower. Stay wild and weird my friends.
